Michael Keaton (born Michael Keaton) is an American actor and has served as a director, producer as well as a producer. The actor is most well-known for his role in the movie 'Birdman. Being a multi-faceted actor, he is able to perform comedy and dramatic parts. His professional career has seen him perform a number of love-interest characters and also in action-packed films. As a teenager, he developed an interest in performing and acting. He began to try stand-up comedic performances when he was a teenager. It wasn't a success, however it helped pave the way to his acting career. Unable to find success as a comedian he took the job of cameraman on television at a cable station. It was while working there when he realized it was his dream to be present in front of cameras. He was offered a TV show and he was a regular on various episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. It was no surprise that the actor quickly gained a following as a well-known TV actor. His early films his aspirations were high and gained acclaim for his comical characters. The actor became more famous in the role of Batman, the titular superhero in Tim Burton's Batman. Over time, his acting skills improved and he began to look into directing and producing. For his role in Birdman (2014) the actor received numerous awards and nominations.
