Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and popular comedians. The comedian has appeared seen on QI together as well as Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better known as her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comedian. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011 as a comedian after appearing in small part for Irish and British television shows beginning in the year 2009. The comedian began to appear often on sketch comedy and sitcoms from 2012. After she received an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then became a regular on various panels, and is now a staple. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, in addition to being a performer on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she was blessed with one sister called Sinead. In 2012, she became the second woman ever to win the So You Think You Are Funny award. The surname she uses is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan. Brian was an equine veterinarian who died when Bea was three years old though she was not told the cause of his death until she reached the age of 13 years old. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her late father. Bea also wrote an article for The Guardian on her family's suicide story. Bea, along with her sister Sinead was raised in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Her family were racing and horse-related. Bea began her career as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that the racing industry wasn't for her.
